windflowers begins

Have decided to start my own blog.  Will keep it up for nineteen days, a sort of taster to see what this is like.  Hope someone enjoys it!  Will start with something upbeat before turning to depressing stuff.

The Brightness of a Shadow On a Broken Wall

Before every act think of its end and not just its start.

Begin with faith that change can come not matter what.

How that builds or breaks this world depends on you.

All you can chose is the role you play, when and where.

Usually you can do more than you think

But end up doing much less than you should.

Love gives you confidence fills you with hope

Helping you grow giving you space.

Life passes like a shadow on a broken wall

But you have a beauty that needs to be seen

Come out of the dark, paint your bright colours

If only a seconds glow, burn bright and clear with might

  1. Well I've not quite got the hang of these blogs. I mean I expect this posting should be somewhere else entirely. Thanks for all the lovely comments about my first story. This second one is based in Portstewart - exactly where I am now, even though is was written decades ago.
